During the renovation of the Hotel Schweizerhof in Lucerne, we were entrusted with various complex carpentry tasks for the Brasserie VICO in collaboration with Ligno in-Raum, DOBAS and construction manager Mathias Odermatt.
Services
Manufacture of doors, wardrobes, window sill coverings, lighting elements, mirrored ceilings, wine cabinets, upholstered furniture and various items of furniture for use in the gastronomy field.
Materials
Fine materials such as stained oak, ribbed glass, brass, glass, leather, natural stone and artificial stone lend the room depth and character.
With respect for the historical substance, the gallery and the pavilion of the Schweizerhof were merged into a single entity.
Demolition work was carried out and stylistically appropriate additions were made during the new interior construction.
After approximately five weeks of construction, the Brasserie VICO opened its doors in May 2025.
Two independent areas, each with its own atmosphere – the gallery and the pavilion – were to be combined to form a single design entity.

The new floor plan with seating niches and a raised platform restructures the space and responds specifically to different guest needs.

The new Lifestyle-Brasserie
Inside the pavilion itself, the ceiling is illuminated by a delicate structure made up of countless interconnected LEDs that seem to float magically in the air, casting a wonderfully pleasant light throughout the room. This perfectly showcases the new furnishings.
Exclusive wine indulgence! This wine chiller, designed especially for the Schweizerhof, meets all requirements in terms of humidity, lighting conditions, temperature stability and storage conditions to guarantee perfect wine enjoyment.It has different climate zones, is lockable and, thanks to its slim profile, offers above-average transparency of the wine selection.
